Free Tax Review
Free 2nd Look at Your Taxes
Already filed — with another preparer, or on your own? Send us the return and we will take a second look. Free.
What we check
- Deductions and credits that appear to have been missed on the face of the return
- Filing status — whether the one used was the most favorable available to you
- Math and transcription errors
- Mismatches between the return and income documents (W-2s, 1099s) of the kind that commonly draw IRS notices
How it works
- Request your free 2nd look with the short form.
- Send us the return you filed — we will tell you exactly how to get it to us.
- We review it and walk you through what we found — including when the answer is that nothing needs fixing.
What the free review covers
The free 2nd look covers one already-filed federal return with its schedules, plus the state return filed with it — a joint return counts as one return. It is a review of the return as filed, based on the documents you provide; it is not an audit of your books, and no review can guarantee a return is completely error-free. If we spot something that appears worth amending, we will show you what we found and what it means. If you then want us to prepare the amendment, that work is quoted separately before anything is filed. The review itself is free, with no obligation.
